A rigorous, Christ-centered curriculum that forms mind and character together — in plain language, here’s what learning looks like at CCCS.

Our students read rich, whole books rather than disconnected worksheets. Mornings focus on core skills — reading, writing, and mathematics with hands-on manipulatives — while afternoons make room for nature study, history told as story, art, music, and Scripture woven through every subject.
What makes it different is attention: with a 4:1 ratio, teachers know exactly where each child is and can move at the pace real understanding requires.
Students keep a living field journal — pressing leaves, sketching what they find, and labeling anatomy in their own hand.

Real nature-journal pages from our 1st and 2nd graders — living proof of the method at work.
